Teching Innovation
Awards 2007
Today's fast moving world demands
that teachers and students are open-minded in their
approaches to higher education and that graduates
enter professional life with knowledge depth and breadth,
high level thinking abilities and a wide range of
professional skills, and are able to demonstrate a
self-reliant approach to acquiring new knowledge and
skills.
In order to recognize
and encourage faculty and instructors who have made
a sustained effort to improve the quality of their
students' learning by the introduction of innovative
teaching and learning practices or technologies, the
University has instituted the Teaching Innovation
Awards.
The following five individual and
teaching team nominees received the Awards
for Excellence in Teaching Innovation
this year:
